What are we standing on?

There is what we believe, and what the world tells us. Contradictory. Are we standing on a rock or in sand? Jesus' analogy. There will be storms, we can be sure of that. On the rock we will endure and be a victor. On the sand we will be swept away and a victim. And yes, it is easier said than done, but with God we can do it.
