Start everything with "prayer." Prayer - talking to God: Father, Son, or Holy Spirit (we pick) allows Him to share with us His way. Once we know His way we know our sure way. Most of us have or continue to try and do it our way. That will only get us so far. The sure way gets us farther than we ever imagined. Glorify God!
We typically think of Judas as Jesus' betrayer. But in all reality, anyone who sins betrays Jesus from lesser to greater degrees.
We receive a bounty of God's graces without cost every day. He asks us to share likewise. And yes, that it includes His suffering.
