Pleasure principle vs. reality principle. Freud suggests the first is immaturity where the focus is

disregarding everything except for the immediate fulfillment of desires while the latter is maturity where the focus is on the long-term and is more goal oriented. As disciples of Jesus Christ our principle is obvious. Jesus Christ is Alive!
