Plainly speaking

We should speak plainly. That means there has to be a balance between intellect and emotion. The intellect comes from God's gift of wisdom and emotion comes from the shared love with God. And we must recognize what we say lovingly and mercifully may still sting. But so did Jesus' words on more than one occasion. Amen.
