We are all lacking. And possibly one of the worse things we lack is the ability to apologize when we are wrong. With God it is called repentance. Our inability with this act of love should be an opportunity to call upon God to shine His light on the underlying problem (such as knowingly or unknowingly holding onto a lie) and make right for God, ourselves and others.
